Clinical decision support
Reads structured patient data and flags potential chronic-disease care gaps, ranking a panel so urgent charts surface first. I adapted published Canadian clinical guidelines into nine deterministic rules and built the FHIR data model and interface; AI only writes the chart summary.

Clinical document intake
Classifies an incoming clinical fax, extracts its content and structures it as FHIR resources so another system can consume it. I built the intake flow and reviewer interface, and defined where the system holds back for a person rather than guessing.

Clinic inbox automation
Sorts a shared clinic inbox: classifies each email into one of seven categories, files it in Outlook, logs the decision in Excel and posts a Teams alert for likely cancellations. I built the flow, the category logic and the test harness.

UBC Site Winner — National Health Datathon
Our team asked whether routinely collected clinical data could identify general internal medicine patients at risk of ICU transfer 24–48 hours in advance. I helped shape the research question, provided the clinical context used to sanity-check which predictors were plausible, and contributed to the team’s presentation and its stated limitations.
